I saw this very moving video on the MySpace page of a local band, The Stone Hearts and thought I’d share it here. I hope everyone likes it. It’s pretty disturbing imagery and a message that makes you think about the Iraq war. I’ve added it to the videos in the blogroll as well.

I’m glad to have had the opportunity to meet and record Lenny Revell. He’s now living in NYC, so chances to meet him here are scarce now.

I first heard of him through the Spy Guys Talent TV show. Rick Rhodes and Norm Skulski are two of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Besides that, their goal, their passion is to help young talented people succeed. Their home-grown internet and cable show is fed by a series of talent searches they hold all over WNY. Video about Rob Lynch

The latest addition to my links to music video has just been added. If you haven’t noticed the Music Video section on the sidebar, check it out. Every one is a Buffalo music story in itself.

The Rob Lynch one comes from an article about him in Buffalo Rising. Incidentally, I happen to think BR is as important a read as your daily paper. It’s always that informative.

But, I really enjoyed the article about Rob. I’ve known him for a while from my travels in podcast-land, and I had to smile as it described him. I couldn’t help but picture him at his drums, in his own zone, with a smile on his face, totally immersed in the music. Read the rest of this entry »
