When it rains, it pours, or in Buffalo, snows a flurry of activity
Okay, all in one day, another podcast in my 2 Songs series, 2 videos and a post on another Buffalo podcast. What is up? Well, it’s just luck. I hadn’t planned it, but I spent the day cleaning junk off this laptop so it would run a bit better, but while I was on it, I kept finding things. Thanks to some tips I received in email and on a message board it’s been busy.
It’s parade Day in Buffalo, but I stayed home. I would have liked to go see Jackdaw at Club W or the Pug Mahones down the street, or Geno McManus wherever he’s playing today, but after a great, but late night out at Nietzsches last night, I’m sticking at home.
It was a sort of working night. I did some podcast recording and you’ll hear about that soon enough. I also have a bunch of photos to post, but not today. I really needed to get this laptop working better first.
There’s also video from last night. My son has been working on a documentary for a class he’s taking at UB. He chose my podcast as his topic. So last night he tagged along and got some footage for that. I hope we can see some of it eventually on the web.
So, like getting three great bands friend requests in one day on MySpace, sometimes you get a flurry of activity on this page. Unexpected, yes, but I hope a pleasant surprise.
