Music Is Art 2007
Last year, I had a great time at the Music Is Art Festival. I met a lot of bands and musicians that I had wanted to touch base with and kept in touch with a few I had put in podcasts already. It was a great time and I even did a podcast about it, complete with an interview with Robby Takac.
This year I had every intention of being even more involved. But, unfortunately, it fell on a date I will be out of town on. But I wish them well and look forward to next year.
So, I hope as many of you as possible get out to it and support this great cause. The MIA foundation does some great work bringing music to our kids as an art form in the schools. Sure, every school has a music program, but this helps make sure that every kid who wants to can be a part of it.
Besides, it’s just a lot of fun. Two stages full of non-stop music, dance and art, all day, and this time, it’s in conjunction with America’s Fair. Come on, you want to go to the fair anyway, now you can do both.
