Podcast 58 - DoDriver
I met and recorded DoDriver at the Xtreme Model Search May 12, 2007 at Niagara Falls Conference Center.
Their website bio describes the band as:
The rock band that will pass the test of time because of the music, not the trend. A guitar riff-based group with a real singer, and very memorable songs. Walking side by side with the great groups of the 70’s with a modern sound and sensibility.
With a compelling front man, powerful musicianship and a sense of professionalism, there is no doubt this group will be around as long as they want to. A hard rock sound, if you’re in the mood for music that grabs you and takes no prisoners, this is just the ticket.
DoDriver is:
Jody Velletta – vocals
Michael Trabucco – guitar
Doug Smith – guitar
Robert Baker – bass
Rick Andolina – drums

I also mention a couple other things at the beginning of the podcast.
The Buffalo News article by Jeff Meirs has already expired off their site, but you can still read it at Nelson Starr’s site. It’s titled Brilliance For Hire and is a really good read. See the blog post here as well.
I also talk about Spy Guys TV, which is Norm Skulski & Rick Rhodes show on local cable. They are also hosting a regular talent search competition at various local places and occasionally put out a podcast as well.
