Video
I’m getting more and more people who think I do video for my podcast. That’s not a bad thing. I like video and you can certainly do a video podcast, but mine is an audio podcast.
Someday, maybe I will do a video podcast. If I do, it will be a new podcast, separate from this one, even if the subject matter is the same. I could even do some special editions of this podcast with video, if someone supplied it and helped out with the editing. I do have friends who do video - and do it well - so it could happen.
I have given it thought. But you see, I don’t like doing things halfway. I would have to have (or have access to) quality equipment. I wouldn’t do a podcast with a real cheapie video recorder. It makes life harder for the guy editing it later and the viewer even later, if the quality isn’t there. There’s plenty of crappy cell-phone video out on the web already. I’m not going to add to it.
But, as I said, I do like video, especially about Buffalo’s music. So I have added some links to the sidebar under the Music Video category. They are just links. I don’t have them, don’t host them, or have control of them if they go away. But I hope you’ll enjoy them as I did.
