Buffalo Live! Music Podcast - 2 Songs From Buffalo

As promised, the +nurse show from the Podcamp Toronto 2007 show at C’Est What.

+nurse is:

The closed the night out at C’Est What at the Podcamp Toronto bash. I stuck around and talked with Tim and Simon for a really fun interview where we discuss things like hockey, Buffalo TV, and the home game of +nurse. I’m sure we must have talked about the band and music in there somewhere too. What can I say, it was late and we were having a good time.

I first heard of +nurse when I heard Reverse Engineering played on The Daily Source Code (Adam Curry’s podcast) I was listening to an episode that had been mentioned in another podcast, This Week In Tech. I don’t usually listen to the DSC (not that I don’t like it, I just am only interested in about 10% of what goes on there, so I just listen to selected episodes.) so it was serendipity that I happened to catch that particular episode.

So, +nurse got a shot of good luck being played on the flagship podcast of the Podshow Network. Quite a few other podcasts have played their music as well, though, so it’s not an isolated incident!

This was their second-to-last show, though. I didn’t realise it at the time and when they talked about “breaking up tour” like the Rolling Stones, I thought they were just kidding around. But their May 11th show was billed as their last. It sounds like it’s not an explosive breakup - no fights or personality clashes - just an end to an era. Lets hope for many reunion shows!
