I’m still coming down from the emotional high of Podcamp Toronto 2007 and meeting so many cool, like-minded podcasters. Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve been spending the weekend in Toronto at something called Podcamp Toronto a “un”-conference by and about podcasters. It’s been great meeting so many other people doing this and getting so many ideas from them. How Stuff Works article

I almost forgot about it, but I’ve been featured in an article – How to create a podcast by Ed Grabianowski on How Stuff Works web site.

I knew about it of course, but have been so busy I hadn’t had time to check it out until I found it while looking for something else yesterday. The really cool thing about it, was I was with some pretty elite company. The article mentions the Podfather, Adam, Curry, [snicker] but what I found really cool was the other sources shown: I was right above Leo Laporte, the This Week In Tech and Security Now Podcast host and former TechTV host (still doing that in Canada)

Throughout the show, a number of people, family, past band members, friends and the like joined the band on stage. Several of Alison’s friends and family were helping out on backing vocals. Buffalo comedy/novelty act Airborn Eddie did a number (“Police Oh My God” – a play on “Feliz Navidad”). Alison even did a Christmas song about a Christmas Donkey… Read the rest of this entry »
