Music at the Marina
While you’re waiting for the next podcast, why not get out one last time before the summer is gone and see some live music here in Lockport. All WNY Radio.com is sponsoring a concert called Music at the Marina this Tuesday September 19, 2006 at Nelson Goehle Widewaters Marina in Lockport.
There’s all kinds of details on the AllWNYRadio site so I won’t repeat it here, but three great acts - Madeleine White and Jeremy Mohr, The Road Home and Lockport’s own Flyin’ Blind Blues Band will be there to rock your socks off. (Flyin’ Blind was our first REAL podcast!)
There’s a good reason to come out and support this concert as well, it’s a test-run for a concert series being proposed for next year. If it draws a good crowd and is successful now, it willl show the community there is a demand for more shows. Let’s make it a success!
A few friends of All WNY Radio will be there to help out and partake in the fun. I’ll be there of course. J Ryan K of the Gravity Theives will be there doing sound and hopefully a few more of the usual suspects. We’ll see you there!
