This Week In Buffalo - RIP
After a couple months’ test run, I’m going to discontinue the weekly This Week In Buffalo podcast. I enjoyed doing it, but I just don’t have the time to get it out each week right now.
While it was relatively easy to put together, less work than the regular podcast, it still took a chunk of time in a part of the week where I didn’t have it.
And the comments (none) and download numbers just weren’t there.
The one thing I regret about halting it is that I had used it to showcase some artists that I couldn’t use in the main podcast. Some that I had only a couple songs, or that weren’t from the Western New York area. I’ll have to think about some way to replace that. Maybe a double-track show like some podcasts are doing.
As for concert information, the web calendar is still there and I will still keep it updated.
