Buffalo Live! Music Podcast

We finally caught up with the Ghost Riders at Sportsmans Tavern, June 17, 2006 and had a great time making the podcast. If you have never heard them before, you’re in for a real treat.

They’re a real Country band, not the prettied-up poster-boys in jeans and sequins that TV wants you to think is “Country Music.” They play the real thing, and as they say, “from the heart.” They lean towards the outlaw side of country, but not too much. If you like BR-549, Asleep At The Wheel, or Pure Prairie League, you’ll like their sound. They do some harder stuff as well, but aren’t afraid to sing a ballad either.

They have four CDs out, and they played a set almost entirely from their original work for the podcast, but they are a great bar band too. They will play almost any country song someone requests and are rarely stumped!
