New Podcast players
I’ve added a player in the menu on the right side of the page. If you just want to sample a podcast without getting involved with downloading it, you can use it to play any of the podcasts on this page. You’ll have to stay on the page while it plays, but give it a try.
Also, if you are looking for a podcatcher, I’ve heard good things about Winpodder. If you are confused about what a feed-aggregator is or why you need a special program for podcasts (you don’t, you can go right on doing it manually, if that’s what you like!) give this one a try. It’s supposed to be so simple and intuitive you won’t have any trouble using it. Plus it comes set up with a bunch of popular podcasts already to get you started.
It’s free and in beta testing, so what you get is worth every cent you pay, but if you don’t like it, you’ve lost nothing either.
