I was invited by Sam to come hear the Seldom Herd performers at their weekly session. They play at Lock City Cafe, a little sandwich & coffee shop within steps of the historic Erie Canal Locks.
That night, there were six talented performers there and every one was worth the trip. The Seldom Herd group has held full recitals as well with CDs recorded and released featuring the members. Another show is planned in Lockport on May 13th at the Palace Theater.
This weeks podcast features two of the Seldom Herd performers: Sam Conjerti and Alix Krzemien. The others, Dale Campbell, Mike Petraglia and Rick Heenan along with special guest, harpist Donna Aiken, will be featured in the next podcast.
