Site update
I upgraded the site’s blog software - WordPress - tonight. It wasn’t without a few tense moments. It totally bombed at first. I had the old site backed up. I restored it. Still nada. I wiped out the directory (the posts are in a seperate database) and reinstalled from scratch. Went to the install routine, and was about to begin to install from scratch, when everything started working. Weird.
We’ve done a couple of these updates recently and never had a problem. Till now. I still don’t understand what happened, but it’s working and we’ll take it at that.
I did manage to lose some of the additions to the sidebar but I decided to change themes anyway, so I would have had to redo them anyway. The new theme uses the full screen width, which I like better anyway.
There may be some cosmetic bugs for a while, but I’ll be fixing them a I go. Hope you like the new look.
