Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas
Just a quick post to wish you ll the best for the Christmas season.
I’m hoping to get another podcast up here during the holidays. I recently taped a show at the Buffalo Irish Center with the band Penny Whiskey. It’s coming together nicely, but I didn’t have time to record the intros and other after-the-fact work before I had sinus surgery (12/19). It’s left me temporarily sounding like Donald Duck! Or like I’b godda code in by doze. But I hope to finish it in a few days. Believe me, they are worth the wait!
I think the robots may have been getting into things again and might have whipped something up for the holiday as well… does anyone know an exterminator?
After the holidays, I hope to get into full swing and have at least one show per week. Any genre is fair game, as long as it features local musicians doing original music. I hate to leave cover songs out, but at least for now, the licensing for that is out of my reach. I’m in contact with a number of bands and have some potentially great shows in the works, but there will always be room for more. If you are a band or musician that fits the above criteria, and would like to be featured in a podcast, please feel free to contact me. There are many bands I know, but many more I don’t (yet!)
