WNY Podcasting News
Well, it may have been a quiet week from here, but it was a big one for Buffalo music in podcasting.
First, The Roadhouse Podcast hosted by Tony Steidler-Dennison, one of the finest blues podcasts going, featured Tommy Z one of the best blues guitarists from WNY. (Not that there aren’t many!)
Then, the other, and probably original WNY Music podcast, Radio.Speljamr, hosted by Timothy J. Finucane, played both The Last Conservative and The Juliet Dagger. Both are published by Good Charamel Records one of Buffalo’s fine independent record houses that do so much to support local artists.
So scoot on over to those two podcasts to hear some great Buffalo based music. You might think I’m crazy to send you away from this podcast to another, but that’s the way podcasting is. We’re all in this together and it’s all about the music, whoever brings it to you, we all benefit. It’s truly a grass-roots thing.
I’ve been listening to both those podcasts for many months and can honestly reccomend them to you, anyway. I’m going to have to get in touch with Tim and introduce myself. The fact that he was the only area podcaster I could find, was one of the things that persuaded me to get into podcasting myself. Perhaps we can collaborate on some projects.
