Buffalo Live! Music Podcast

Great news and plenty of activity here.

I had initially planned on starting with podcasts after the first of the year, but a couple of opportunities have come along already, so I’m starting sooner.

I had an opportunity last night (Thanksgiving Eve) to see our favorite local Blues band, Flyin’ Blind, play in a local club. I asked if I could do a podcast and was given the go-ahead, so it’s in the works.

I also have a possible show taping coming up in early December with a new band, made up of former members of a very well-known Celtic music group. It’s not finalised yet, so I won’t name them, but watch here for an announcement. They promise to be a very exciting new group and getting them here will be a real coup. A startup band on a startup podcast!

I had wanted to put up an initial show without a band interview, just some podsafe music and sort of a mission statement for the podcast. It would let me get the bugs out and make sure everything works before trying a real show. I’ll try to get that done this weekend, and get the Flyin’ Blind show up shortly thereafter.

So keep any eye on this site. Put it in your podcatcher or news aggregator and the podcast will start shortly!
