Welcome!

Hey Podpeople,

I’m Doc Wu, also known as Al Gritzmacher. I’m a music fan and I think Buffalo has some great local music acts. And a healthy local music scene.

Very soon, I’m going to start a podcast featuring these music acts, both bands and individual artists, form the local area. I will have music samples, interviews and news on the local music scene. I hope to do much of this on-location in the venues that support our local musicians.

If you are a musician or band that would like to be featured in a podcast, and would be willing to let me feature your music in a podcast, please feel free to contact me. I’ll make every effort to get together and showcase your music.

If you are a local bar, restaraunt or music venue that features local music, please consider allowing us to do a podcast live from your location. We’d like to support those businesses that suppport our musicians as well and we hope the podcast will help your business as well.

Running a podcast has some expenses and at this point it is a labor of love, funded out of my own pocket. As the podcast grows, so will expenses for hosting and bandwidth. While the podcast will alway be free and there will never be a charge to the musicians to be on it, we will have some advertising to support the operation. If you are a local business, whether in the music business, or not, and would like to be a sponsor of the Buffalo Music Podcast, please feel free to contact me, you’d be surprised how cheap we are!

Stay tuned to this site and put it’s RSS feed in your aggregator, I hope the podcasts will begin soon.

Saw you on the Riverbend Podcast comments section. I’d be interested in hearing what Buffalo music sounds like since I’m from WI. Good luck! I’ll be tuning in.

    TD3 out!
